Richard Dwayne "Rick" Ethridge

Rick served in the United States Marine Corps and was an Executive Chef for fifteen years before starting his own landscaping business. He was a member of the Polish National Alliance Club #352, where he managed the kitchen for a number of years, and assisted in creating and running the annual fishing tournament for the past twenty years. He was also a member of the Eleventh Ward Club in Christy Park where he served as a bartender, and he was a member of the White Oak American Legion, Post 701. Rick loved to fish, hunt, golf, watch Pittsburgh Sports, and spend time at his camp in Conneaut Lake.

In addition to his parents and wife, Rick is survived by his sons, Zachary Richard (Jess) Ethridge of Canonsburg, PA; and Brandon Michael (Brooke) Ethridge of Mount Washington, PA; sister-in-law, Renee (Mike) Ansell of Peters Twp., PA; father and mother-in-law, Ben and Marie Cifone of North Versailles, PA; nieces; nephews; many cousins; aunts; and uncles. Rick is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Brian Ethridge, who died on May 30, 2020.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Rick’s memory on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from Noon until 5:30 p.m. when prayers will be held by Fr. Vincent Velas, at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177).
