Diane C. Lieb, age 64, of Liberty Borough, died on August 27, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born October 17, 1960, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ida (Carrozza) Foster.

Diane dedicated a significant part of her life to her role as a unit secretary and later, as a scheduling coordinator for the South Hills Orthopedic Surgery Associates. Her diligence and kindness in the health care field were a testament to her desire to help others, showcasing her compassionate nature.


An ardent lover of crafts, Diane found joy in creating beautiful pieces that reflected her vibrant personality. She also loved gardening and expressing her personality and passion with her colorful choices of plants and flowers. After a long day of gardening, she relaxed by taking a joyride in her Mazda Miata, followed by a glass of red wine. Her creative spirit shone brightly at the family camp at Mountain Pines Campground, a place where she forged lasting friendships and cherished memories. Diane believed that BALANCE was the key to creating a happy life. However, what brought her the greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, who filled her life with immense happiness and love.

She is survived by children, Justin (Dana) Wargo, of Belle Vernon, Lindsay (Jesse) Black, of Elizabeth Twp., and Brittany (Adam) Martin, of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Korbin, Madisyn, Karson, Justin Jr., Ayla, Axel, and Kainen ; siblings, Antoinette (Michael) Trapani, of AZ, Robert Foster, and David (Linda) Foster; her dog, Bella. She was also preceded in death by her dog, Sophie.

Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, 10 a.m. until the time of blessing service at 12 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers and entombment will follow in News St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum of North Versailles.
