Janet E. (George) Zambanini, age 74, of Irwin, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025. She was born April 4, 1951 in McKeesport, a daughter the late Elmer and Pauline George. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 20 years and worked at Kane in McKeesport and Redstone Highlands in North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Gerald Zambanini; brother Edwin George; and brother-in-law Gene Barchanowicz. She is survived by her son Christopher Komyanik of Iraq; sisters Gloria (Gene) Benedict; Leah (Harry) Socrates and Paula Barchanowicz; nieces and nephews Jason, Marcy, Adam, Dereck, Corissa, Matt, Jamie and Elise; 6 great nieces; and 4 great nephews. Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 23rd from 10 a.m. till time of funeral service at Noon at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200.
