Wendy A. (Parola) Gilmartin, 51, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday January 1, 2017. She was born March 6, 1965 in Greensburg, a daughter of Roberta (Waddell) Parola of Irwin and the late Clifford Parola. Wendy was a member of West Hempfield Presbyterian Church. She loved to laugh and enjoyed life and supported her husband in his music ministry at the church. She a member of Wendel Herminie Athletic Association and a former employee of CABCO, Irwin.

She is survived by her husband Jake Gilmartin; her sisters Vicki Tanner of Greensboro and Kim (Mark) Estep of Clarksville, TN; nieces and nephew, Jessica Kiger, Brittani Adams, Rachel Cooper, Jennifer Karns, and Michael Novak; and her loving pet dogs Penny and Parker. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in West Hempfield Presbyterian Church, 8 West Hempfield Dr., Irwin, with Rev. Peggy Shannon, officiating.
