Michael Bilak, Jr., 84, of Elizabeth Township, died Saturday January 7, 2017. He was born December 19, 1932 in Port Vue and was the son of the late Michael and Anna May Kyne Bilak, Sr. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic in Elizabeth Township and was also a member and Eucharistic Minister at the former Holy Trinity Church in McKeesport. Michael was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. For his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal. He was retired from the Tube City Beer Distributor in McKeesport.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Benich Bilak, daughters, Karen (John) Shaver of Goshen, KY, Kathy (Bob) Weis of Forward Township, Janice (Jerry) Padrta of Albemarle, NC, and Barbara (Robert) Engle of California, son, Tim (Kathy) Bilak of Elizabeth, sister, Mary (John) Evanko of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Sarah Wilson, Steven and Craig Liesinger, Nikki Weis, Kory and Kayla Bilak, Jonathan Bonnett, Jerry and Jenna Padrta, and Hannah Engle, great-grandchildren, Beau and Eli Wilson and Lucia Liesinger, nieces and nephews and many loving neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, John and Richard Bilak and sisters, Anna Mae Criado and Diane March.
