Andrew J. Lazar, age 81, of Port Vue, died March 26, 2026, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born July 24, 1944, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Bernard J. and Helen (Zalac) Lazar.

Andrew retired from Tyggart Steel after many years of dedicated service. He also contributed to the local community through his work at The Daily News in McKeesport. A devoted member of the Sacred Heart Church of McKeesport, Andrew found solace in his faith, which provided him comfort and guidance throughout his life. He had a deep appreciation for the music of the 50s and 60s, and often reminisced about the joy those melodies brought him.

Andrew is survived by his sister, Patricia Ann Smith of Port Vue; niece, Michele Ann Smith of Port Vue; nephew, Jeffrey Thomas of Port Vue; and good friend, Wesley McNeils.
