Christine L. (Peterson) McGuire, 61, of Pittsburgh and Greenock, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. She was born June 20, 1964, in McKeesport and was the daughter of Emily Peterson of Gainesville, FL, and the late Nolan Peterson. Christine attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1984 and earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Communications Marketing and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Point Park University. She was a member of numerous organizations, including but not limited to the Mon Yough River Council, Twilight Wish Foundation, Alzheimer's Association, 20th Century Club, and a founding member of the South Hills Community Connect.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Pat McGuire; children, Neil and Nola McGuire both of Pittsburgh; sister, Joyce Meyers of Gainesville, FL; nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. Friends will be recieved Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, PA 15135. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth.
