Robert William Johnson, age 95, of Elizabeth passed away April 12, 2026 at St Barnabas Nursing Facility in Gibsonia. He was an Army veteran, a member of Iron Workers Local Union 3 since 1951, and a retired employee of Dick Corporation. Woodworking was his avid hobby. Born November 12, 1930, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Agnus (Ohm) Johnson and beloved husband of the late Joan (Crawford) Johnson. He was the loving father of Gary Johnson of Buena Park, CA and Keith (Rosemary) Johnson of Gibsonia; grandfather of Spencer, Victoria (Samual) Svonavec and Cristian; great-grandfather of Maeve Svonavec; and sister-in-law, Lois Johnson (Saracco). In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Raymond and James; and sisters, Marie (Brogan) and Dorothy (Massing). Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 5-8 PM. A blessing service will be April 17, 2026 at 11:30 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas J.
