William Lawrence Duffy, 75, of North Huntingdon, passed away on April 15, 2026.
He was born May 25, 1950, in McKeesport the son of the late William H. and Margaret (McMillan) Duffy. Bill lived a full and vibrant life marked by devotion to his family, strong faith, and a joyful spirit.
Bill was a proud graduate of Penn State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance, and later received his master’s degree in education from Duquesne University. He built a long and successful career in accounting, working for many years at Westinghouse Electric Company and Eaton Corporation.
Bill had a deep love for sports, especially Pittsburgh teams and Penn State, and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on. He was passionate about music, enjoyed spending time on the golf course, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Known for his generosity, intelligence, and unmistakable charisma, Bill was truly the life of the party. Above all, he loved and supported his family. His ability to see the bright side of every situation and live with optimism will be remembered by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife, Carol Duffy; his daughter, Meghan (Ryan) McClimans of Valencia; his son, William Duffy of Greensburg; and his cherished granddaughters, Mary Kate, Molly, and Maeve McClimans, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his partner, Janet Marton.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Yvonne Merry.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Irwin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, in St. Agnes Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon.
