June Goss Richardson, 91, of North Versailles, died Sunday January 22, 2017. An Elder of Linway U.P. Church, she was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels for 40 years and a member of AARP Ch. 2580 and the North Versailles Senior Citizens. She had a loving and adventurous spirit. She is the wife of the late William J. Richardson and companion of the late Chuck Carothers; mother of Linda (Jerome) Lowe, Janis (William) Seitz, Jill (Paul) Allan, and Jim (Carmen) Richardson; grandmother of Jerry (Melissa) Lowe Jr., Jamie (Ed) Kraus, Eric Seitz, and Nathan (Britni) Allan; great grandmother of Brianna, Lexi, and Jordis Kraus, Siena and Keisel Allan, and J.T. Lowe; sister of Norma (Kenneth) George and the late Patricia Varsafsky.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Linway U.P. Church, 600 Greensburg Ave., North Versailles. Those attending please go directly to the church. Interment will be in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution to Linway U.P. Church or St. James Fellowship, 1467 Madden Dr., Monroeville, PA 15146.
