Theodore “Ted” W. Fillar, 85, of North Versailles, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Mary (Frydrych) Fillar; wife Marion (Christopher) Fillar; brothers Walter, Edmond and Edward; and sister Helen. He is survived by his sons Christopher (Barbara) Fillar, Kenneth Fillar and fiancé Susan Niedermeyer and her daughters Kaitlain and Sarah, and Scott Fillar; grandchildren Jeff (Allison) Fillar and Amy (Geoff) Ford; great grandchild Jacob Ford; and sisters Jenevieve “Jenny” Beck and Emlia “Milly” Zygowicz.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1313 5th Avenue, East McKeesport. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
