Ann Helen Shoemaker, 56, of Leechburg, passed away peacefully at her home, Wednesday, February 10, 2016. She was born April 19, 1959 in Leechburg, the daughter of Regina (Jacukiewicz) and the late Eugene Romanowski.

Ann worked many years as a certified pharmacy technician. She was beloved for her goodwill, kindness, and humor. Ann was an avid gardener and created beautiful gardens around her home. She loved the ocean, the beaches, and to collect seashells.
Ann was a member of Christ the King Parish in Gilpin Township. A loving and devoted wife, caring mother, daughter, and aunt, she is survived by her daughter, Eve Hebrank, and husband, Douglas, of 19 years, her mother Regina, her brother Stanley (Donna) Romanowski, her nieces, Lisa (Jeff) O’Connor, Vicki (Mike) Ostrowski, Jennifer (Jason) Witz, and Bailey Hebrank, her nephew Michael Boden, and her great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Romanowski.
A memorial service and Mass will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, 12:00 p.m., at Christ the King Parish, Leechburg. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Christ the King Church, 125 Park Road, Leechburg, PA.
