Joyce Audrey Sturgess, age 62 of McKeesport, died suddenly on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.  She was born June 5, 1955 in McKeesport, the daughter of the late Paul J. and Audrey Isabelle Miller Gabriel.  She was employed at Magic Creation in McKeesport. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Paul N. Sturgess; sons, Todd Sturgess of Erie, PA, and Ryan (Mindy) Sturgess of McKeesport; grandchildren, Noah, Ella and Connor Sturgess, and McKenzie and Brooke Moody; sister, Lois Jean (Bishop William) Ilgenfritz of Kissimee, Florida; brother, Paul K. Gabriel of Texas; also nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, Dec. 3^rd from 2-8 pm at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177).  Services will be held on Monday at 11 am with her brother-in-law, Bishop William Ilgenfritz officiating.  Remembrances in Joyce’s name may be made to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
