Andrew J. Bokin Sr., 66, of White Oak, died Monday, March 28, 2016. He was born May 11, 1949, in McKeesport, the son of the late David and Lucille Faircloth Bokin, and the loving husband of his late wife, Mae Bokin. He served in the Army during Vietnam and worked at U.S. Steel in both Braddock and Duquesne. He is survived by sons, Ronald (Cheryl) Faulds, of White Oak, Michael (Agnes) Faulds, of West Mifflin, Paul (Paula) Faulds, of Munhall, and Andrew J. Bokin Jr., of White Oak; daughter, Lynn Bowen, of White Oak; brothers, David (Carol) Bokin, of White Oak, John (the late Julie Bokin), of Duquesne, and Jack (Pat) Bokin, of Liberty Borough; sister, Lucille Bokin, of McKeesport; grandchildren, Ron, Ray, Sharon, Matt, Samantha, Elysia, Sarah and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Devan, Matthew, Noah, Malia and Nichole; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michele Smith; and sisters, Mary Artledge and Nancy Lynn. Friends will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES INC., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gary LaPietra officiating. Burial will follow.
