Larue “Mickey” Mae Eichler, 86, of Clairton, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.  She was born July 13, 1932 in Clairton to the late Arnold and Marie Tullius LaBudda.  Larue was a loving wife for 50 years to the late Bill Eichler.  She is survived by her loving children, Marie Sopko of Clairton, Billy (Lynn) Eichler of West Mifflin, James “Peach” (Sue Arnold) Eichler of Clairton, Rebecca (Joe) Shoemaker of Clairton, Amy (James) Garbart of Clairton; grandchildren, Nicole (Jeremy) Baker, James “JJ” Lostetter, Heather (Kris Lute) Sopko, Billy Sopko, Sarah Eichler, Eliza Sopko; great-grandchildren, Katrina, Jeremiah and Alaina Baker; nieces, nephews and furry friend, Bubbles.  Along with her parents and husband, Larue was preceded in death by sisters, Joanne Shaner and Anne Stein. She graduated in 1950 from Clairton High School and continued her education by graduating from St. John’s School of Nursing. During her years of nursing, Larue worked for Clairton School District, New Eagle Hospital, Lawson’s Nursing Home, and was “the nurse” of Jefferson Drive.  She was a Girl Scout leader, Boy Scout leader, Clairton Band Booster President, Eucharistic Minister & lecture, enjoyed karaoke, boating and spending time with her grandchildren.  Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 pm at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton,  PA  15025.  A service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10 am followed by interment at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pleasant Hills.  Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com
