Jean (Kovac) Cameron, 90, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday October 25, 2018. She was born February 9, 1928 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Novak) Kovac and was also preceded in death by her husband Frank L. Cameron and sisters Alberta Wilson and Bernadette Sedlar. Jean graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received a master’s degree from Penn State University. She was a retired elementary school teacher for Norwin School District having taught at Scull Elementary School and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, North Huntingdon. She is survived by her sons Daniel G. Cameron and his wife Sharon of Cherry Hill, NJ, James L. Cameron and his wife Jeanne of Beaver Falls, and Jeffrey A. Cameron and his wife Sherri of Leander, TX; her grandchildren Alexander (Katie) Cameron, Jessica (Evan) Dyer, Emily Cameron, and Madelyn Cameron; and a sister Mary Kay Cox of Pittsburgh.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 Sunday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Agnes Church. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
