Francis “Fran” Paul Orban, age 79 of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018. He was born November 24, 1939 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John and Katherine (Pavlakovic) Orban. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in North Huntingdon. He was a 20 year Air Force veteran that went onto work for the Cheswick Post Office for over 19 years before retiring in 2002. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson Michael Orban; son-in-law Greg Baker; brothers Joseph, Stephen, Gerald and Michael Orban; and sister Catherine Cush. His is survived by his wife of over 57 years Dorothy (Livingstone) Orban; children Joseph Orban, Stephen Orban, Timothy (Linda) Orban, Michael (Gina) Orban and Katherine Baker; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and brothers James (Kathleen) Orban and John (Theresa) Orban.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Good Shepard Cemetery in Monroeville.
