Thomas Robert Ballas, 56, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully Sunday May 22, 2016, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 14, 1959, in McKeesport. Tom owned and operated Norwin Clock Repair for more than 25 years, servicing each customer with great care. More recently, he worked side by side with his brother, Bill, as a web developer at BNS Web Creations.

Tom had a great love of music and loved listening to Jazz impressions every Sunday morning. He is the beloved son of Robert J. and Ellen Joan (Leaghty) Ballas, of White Oak. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Cristal (Reese) Ballas and their son, Nathaniel Ballas, of North Huntingdon, and his friend, Nikki Brown; siblings, Charles (Debbie) Ballas, of North Carolina, Barbara Waite, of Castle Shannon, John Ballas, of White Oak, and William (Sharlene) Ballas, of North Huntingdon; in-laws, David (Dona) Reese, of Bentleyville, Debra (Dennis) Horgan, of Ohio, Shawn Reese and Vicki Reese, both of White Oak; also many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Jon Chillinsky officiating. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
