Louise A. Rees, age 107, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019. She was born October 28, 1912, a daughter of the late Louis and Zella Rees. She was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church in McKeesport was a teachers aid for over 20 years in the Allentown area before retiring.

She is survived by her nephews George Thompson, David Thompson, John Gorman and Kevin Gorman; nieces Susan O’Neil, Terrie O’Neil and Canise Wright; and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Robert Rees; and sisters Zella Heasley, Edna Thompson and Eleanor Gorman.
 
Friends and family will be received Saturday from 10 a.m. till time of service at noon at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. Interment will follow at McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery in McKeesport. The family thanks the staff at the Good Shepard Care home for their loving care of Louise over the many years she stayed there and ask that memorial contributions be made to the Good Shepherd Care Home, 601 St. John Street, Allentown, PA 18103.
