George Edward Klacik, age 84 of McKeesport, went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, June 22, 2016.  He was born in McKeesport on May 7, 1932 and is the son of the late George and Susan (Balas) Klacik.  He served in the US Army post Korean war 1955.  He was retired from US Steel after 27 years of employment. George was an avid pinochle player, enjoyed working with electronics and was fascinated by aeronautics.
He is survived by his daughter, Jacquelyn (William) D’Antonio of Lititz, Pa; sons, Alan Lee (Darlene) Klacik of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Gene Klacik of Tarentum, Pa; grandchildren, Lauren and David D’Antonio, Steve, Michael, Jason and Mike Klacik; and seven great-grandchildren.  His sister Irene Mulac and niece Monica Mulac.
Friends will be received from 10 am. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).  A service will be held at Noon immediately following visitation at the funeral home chapel with Pastor George Stadler officiating.
