Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | December 13, 2020

Jeffrey Hunter Yuhas, 21, of Clairton, PA., died suddenly in an auto accident on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Jeffrey was born January 21, 1999, in Pittsburgh, PA., the son of Patricia Yuhas and Jeff Louden.

Jeffrey had a big heart and a passion for taking care of others that began when he was very young. If you were fortunate enough to know him, then you would have experienced his selflessness and concern for others. He was extremely caring for people as well as for animals.

Jeffrey was a very social and happy person who always had a smile on his face and a laugh that was contagious and brought joy to those around him.

During his childhood, he answered the call to serve as an altar boy at his local church. He played several sports, including football at Mt. Pleasant High School where he showed a great example of team effort and enthusiasm.

After graduation, he followed his dream and became a U.S. Marine in which family and friends were honored. Jeffrey recently bought his own home and was in the process of remodeling it and was excited to spend his first Christmas there. He enjoyed being a fur dad to his dogs Bane and Freya and also enjoyed being around his friends and family, spending time with his girlfriend, playing video games and sports.

He was preceded in death by grandparents John and Frances Yuhas, and cousin Madisyn Yuhas.  Jeffrey is survived by his Mom & Dad, sisters, Sarah Yuhas and Kayla Yuhas, grandparents, Sharon and Dave Bradish, many aunts; Cathy (Ray) Uhrin, April Sestito, Mary Yuhas, Louise (Frank) Rayer, Jerri Yuhas, uncles; John Yuhas III and John Louden, many cousins, Ashley (Keegen) Alcock, Sean (Ashley) Uhrin, Michael (Nicole) Yuhas, Caitlin Uhrin, Christopher (Jordan) Yuhas, Amanda Rayer, Krystal Sestito, Tyler Sestito, Frank Rayer III, Jonathan Louden, Amber Louden, girlfriend, Bryanna Morrison and many friends.

Jeffrey was easy to talk to, charming and generous with a personality that lit up the room. He left us way too young and he will be forever cherished and missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 15th from 2-4 and 6-8 at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025.

A service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 am to be followed by interment at Round Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the family to defray costs. Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com.
