Wilson V. Rivera, age 66, of Verona, died on January 4, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  Born February 25, 1954, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Lydia (Willis) Rivera-Turner and the late Raymon Rivera, and the loving husband of Beverly (Parsee) Rivera.  Wilson worked as a Supervisor of Maintenance at Wesley Family Services for over 25 years.  He loved old music and German Shepherd dogs but was especially fond of antique cars.  He took great pride in cleaning and detailing his antique 1988 Mazda.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by grandchildren, Asia (Trevor) McCullough and Aries Salone; a great-granddaughter, Josephine McCullough; great-nephews, Miguel "Chuy" Torres, and Gideon Torres; a great-niece, Chloe "Kitty" Parsee and a host of other nieces and nephews; brothers, Raymond, Tony, Harry, and Eddie Rivera; and a sister, Betty Potts.  He was preceded in death by a step-son, Parris Salone; a step-daughter, Rebecca Salone, and a brother, Richard Rivera.  Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
