Mary Ellen Oleska, age 81 of White Oak, died on Monday, January 25, 2021. She was born in McKeesport on June 15, 1939 and is the daughter of the late Albert Arthur and Olive LaVerne Mains Miller.

She retired after being employed for 29 years at McKeesport Hospital. She was previously employed at Helmsteaders Department Store in McKeesport. enjoyed playing bingo, cards and going to the casinos. She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Robert Oleska; her daughters, Sherry Ellen Roskov of White Oak and Darla Oleska of McKeesport; grandchildren, Christi (James Catterall) Roskov, Jeffrey Barnes, Shawn (Kali Rotharmel) Landstrom, Melanie and Taylor Ingersoll and Karrie; great-grandson, Raiden James Catterall; brother, David (Lorraine) Miller of Sterling, Virginia; sister, Dolores “Dolly” (the late Steve) Gall of McKeesport; and son-in-law, James Barnes; also nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Oleska and daughters, Lynne Barnes and Jodie Oleska. Family services were held at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) with burial at Round Hill Cemetery.
