Duane D. Jenkins, age 88, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Vincentian Marian Manor. He retired as president of D. Jenkins Group in Elrama. An Army veteran serving during the Korean War, he was a member of Jefferson United Presbyterian Church in Jefferson Hills and a member of the McKeesport Masonic Lodge. Born November 12, 1932 in Versailles, he was a son of the late William J. and Mary Jane (Haywood) Jenkins. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joy L. (Wilkop) Jenkins; sons, William H. (Sherri) Jenkins of Monongahela and Tom D. (Debbie) Jenkins of South Park; daughter, Lorraine (Brian) Finley of Pleasant Hills; grandchildren, Heather Schmidtt, TJ Jenkins, Bill Jenkins Jr., Amelia Kelly, Ashley Birckhead, Samantha Taylor, Marissa Jenkins and Dillon Finley; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Shirley L. Jenkins. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, unvaccinated guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Sharon Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
