Arthur (Aufie) James Bryan, 78 was born August 29, 1942 in McKeesport, Pa. He was the son of the late John Bryan and Lena (Carter) Bryan Miller.

Aufie graduated from McKeesport High School in 1962.  He worked as a Machine Operator for several warehouses and retired after 35 years with local 205 from Schneiders Dairy.  Music was his medicine.  His production Company AB Productions hosted many college dances and parties and entertainment for the local teens.  Sitting on his back porch listening to Doo Wop and the oldies with his Cherikee Red Pop was a good day. He loved to travel, and cruising was one of his favorites; a total of 12 or more cruises. Aufie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  The McKeesport Past & Present Organization was another one of Aufie’s loves.  He was one of the original members of the organization. He was a very dedicated worker.

“As long as there is love and memory, there is no true loss.” Aufie departed this life on May 9, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside. He was preceded in death by his parents. Aufie leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 44 years, Kathleen; two daughters, Lena (Juan) Bryan-Henderson of Forest Hills, Erika (Lindell) Robinson of Baltimore, MD; son, Ekiti Malon Bryan of Pittsburgh; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Essie Bryan of McKeesport; Rozella Sayles who was a special niece; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
