Ronald G. "Butch" Farmerie, 67, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016, at home. An Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was a member of American Legion Daniel Keffer Post 75. He was a plumber for U.S. Steel Clairton Works for 42 years and was a member of the Pipe Shop Bowling League. 

Born June 5, 1949, in McKeesport, he was a son of the late John J. Farmerie Sr. and Dorothy (Spahr) Farmerie. He is survived by his wife, Tina (Procacina) Farmerie of Elizabeth Twp.; sons, Aaron (Shana) Farmerie and Rhett (Kayla) Farmerie; stepdaughter, Rachel (Richard) Tran; stepson, Karl Hirnyk; granddaughter, Kristen; sisters, Sally Shamber and Terry Bailey; brother, John J. "Jack" (Rochelle) Farmerie Jr.; also, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, August 25, 2016, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM.
