Dorothy A. Gernard Eichler Goetz, age 92, of White Oak, died on Monday, December 20, 2021. She was born on March 1, 1929 and is the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie Gintner Genard. She is the wife of the late Russell Goetz and previously the late Joseph Eichler.

She retired from G.C. Murphy Company after many years. She was also employed as a hostess for Striffler Family Funeral Homes and previously worked at Lehigh Design in Dravosburg. She was a member of St. Angela Merici Church, past president of White Oak Catholic Women’s Guild, McKeesport Art Group, Garden Guild and volunteered for many years at the McKeesport Heritage Center in Renzie Park.

She is survived by her stepson, Paul (Lisa) Goetz, of Gaithersburg, Maryland; granddaughter, Katie; niece, Alana (Regis) Brady of Lauderdale By The Sea, Florida; great nephew, Todd Brady also of Lauderdale By The Sea, Florida. She is preceded in death by her sister, Norma Edmundson.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Mount Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
