Hazel H. Irvine, age 97, of North Versailles, died on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.  She was born in Pitcairn on August 10, 1924 and is the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Asbee Hollibaugh and the wife of the late William T. Irvine.

Hazel enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her delicious desserts. She was active in the McKeesport Alliance Church, was a secretary, deaconess, and a president of the Women’s Missionary Prayer Fellowship there.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Dennis) Brandyberry of Canton, Ohio; Nancy Irvine of Irwin; and Mary Louise (Dushan “Duke” Lukic) Irvine of Rutherford, New Jersey; grandchildren, David Brandberry; Mathew Brandyberry; Matthew Henderson; Abbey Henderson; great grandchildren, Liam; Alma; Owen; Clara; and Allis.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, George and Richard Hollibaugh.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). There will also be a gathering on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McKeesport Alliance Church, 938 Summitt Street, McKeesport, PA 15132. Services will be held in the church at 11:00 a.m.
