James “Vance” Thomas Dabruzzo, 78 of Glassport, passed away on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.  He was born February 19, 1938 in Glassport to the late Antonio and Maria DaPaolo Dabruzzo.

He is survived by Sandra, his loving wife of 51 years; son, James T. (Beth) Dabruzzo of Pittsburgh; daughter Kelly L. (Hans) Paal of Trafford; brothers, Nick (Loretta) Dabruzzo and Guido Dabruzzo both of Glassport; sisters, Josephine Metz of North Huntingdon, and Jean (Frank) Todaro of Glassport; granddaughter, Charlotte Paal; nieces, nephews, and his dog Spider.  Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister Ida Null and brothers Anthony and Quirino Dabruzzo.  He was a lifelong Glassport resident, served in the US Army, was employed by US Steel Homestead Works, and was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church in Glassport. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at E. C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport,  PA   15045.  A mass will be held Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10:00 am at Queen of the Rosary Church.  Interment will follow immediately at New St. Joseph’s Cemetery in North Versailles.  Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com
