Kettering, Edward P., 96, of East McKeesport, died Friday September 16, 2016. He was an Army veteran of WWII having training in England for two years before taking part in the D-day invasion on Normandy Beach then fighting thru France, Germany, and Belgium. He was a retired manager for Keystone Plumbing Sales Co., with forty years’ service; a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, East McKeesport, where he served and an usher; and was a volunteer at hospitals and nursing homes. He is survived by his wife, Agnes A. (Casey) Kettering; his daughter, Terri Kettering of New Milford; his grandchildren, Casey T. (Scott) Maxwell, and Richard E., and Benjamin J. Yannella; and nieces and nephews including special niece Casey Haftl.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Doris McNulty. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Interment will be in All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
