Dennis K. Marshall, age 88, of Oakdale, formerly of White Oak, PA and Rotunda West, Florida, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. He was born in Johnstown, PA on May 23, 1934 and is the son of the late John and Alice Mosebach Marshall. He was a veteran of the Army, was employed in the family business supplying cable and wire to mills and mines, was a former member of St. Angela Merici Church, currently a member of St. Columbkille Church in Imperial, and was previously a member of the White Oak American Legion, Post 701.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Orlando Marshall, daughters Christine (Tom) Grove of Penn Twp., Michele (Mike) Hageman of Millersville, Maryland, and Laura (Bob) Collins of Oakdale, grandchildren, John Grove, Kaitie Grove, Adam Grove, Matthew Hageman, Marshall Hageman, Nicholaus Collins and Megan Collins. Dennis was preceded in death by siblings Margaret Lees and Louis Marshall.
Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor 412 678 6177) on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 14 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church, 1640 Fawcett Avenue, White Oak, PA 15131. Committal services and military honors will follow.
