]On December 20th at 9:30am Rose Marie Daugherty(Martinez) passed away. Born September 15th, 1933 in Mckeesport, PA. She was the daughter of the late James W. and Florence (Rock) Daugherty. She was the owner and operator of Rock's Personal Care Home in Mckeesport, PA for 42 years. She faithfully attended Corpus Christ Church in Mckeesport, PA. Rose had always been known for being kind, loving, caring. She also had a knack for saying things that stuck in a person's head. She had very strong faith and beautiful relationship with God. She prayed 3 times a day and carried her rosary in her purse or on her person.

Rose was a great host and enjoyed cooking for others. She liked having special meals lunches and dinners prepared for arriving guests. Some of her hobbies included listening to music, reading, playing solitaire and other card games, baking, having nice long chit chats about life and reflection. She was a woman of devoted faith, loving special person. She touched many hearts and was an inspiration for many people. She will be dearly missed! There were six sisters and six brothers in her family. Preceding her in death besides her parents are Charlotte Ann Daugherty (Morrison), Charles Henry Daugherty, Harvey William Daugherty, James A. Daugherty Jr., Wilford Woodrow Daugherty, Leona May Daugherty (Savage), Leroy Edward Daugherty, Genevie Caroline Daugherty (Freyer), Edna Mazie Daugherty, Daniel G. Daugherty, Margaret Daugherty, and Betty Daugherty; Rose's 3 sons, Ronald Ricardo (Ronny), Donald Alberto (Donny), and Paul B. Martinez; and Rose's ex-husband, Alcides Martinez. She is survived by her daughter Tammara L. Martinez (Irwin) and son, Alcides Roberto (Robbie), but he hasn't been seen or heard from in years. Rose really wanted to see her son Robbie, one last time before she passed and unfortunely that wasn't able to happen; her grandchildren, Enrico, Ricardo, Karissa, Adam, Amber, Courtney, Manny, and Nikki; two special young ladies, Melanie and Delores; along with numerous nieces and nephews, Eugene and Carol Daugherty and Kenny and Cheryl Daugherty. Rose wanted to specifically mention her special niece Cookie Lopez of Chicago. Many special friends, they know who they are. At Rose's request - no Viewing, and no flowers. Her wish has changed many times over the years, but Rose wanted to be cremated and then buried in Grandview Cemetery, alongside her Mother and her baby Ronny. There is also a plot waiting for her ex husband Alcides Martinez. Rose just wants to rest with her precious loved ones forever. Rose's last wish is to tell everyone no matter who they are to God Bless All of You. Condolences and memories may be shared at willigfuneralcremationservices.com.  Supervisor, Charles Danforth
