Debra Denise Walmsley, 65, of Clairton, formerly of North Huntington, passed away on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at her home. She was born in McKeesport on May 21st, 1959 to the late Terrence Patrick Murphy and late Dorothy Walters Schad. She was the loving wife of 43 years to the late Robert Ackland Walmsley. Debra is survived by her daughters Jennifer Schad of Punxsutawney, Starr Walmsley of Duquesne, guardianship Spencer Schad of Bridgeville, sisters Tammy (Michael) Miller of North Huntington, Sandra Henretty, brother Terrence (Ginger) Murphy, Jr. of Greencastle, grandchildren Alex, Emily, Rylee, great grandchild Lainey her beloved pets Millie and Reese, grand-furbabies Gracie Gray and Mizar, as well as many nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by her parents. She was a member of the Sons of Columbus, the V.F.W. as well as the WACC Club. Debra worked as a professional commercial seamstress and also worked for Johnny’s Glass for over 10 years. She enjoyed painting canvases, taking care of her garden, and loved spending time with her family and pets. Services are entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 1502. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June, 15 2024 from 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the Sons of Columbus, 630 Miller Ave., Clairton, PA 15025. We ask that if you are able to bring your memories and pictures to be shared. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
