Helen Alice Sabol, 95 years young, was born May 29, 1929 in Duquesne, PA and also resided in North Huntingdon and Aiken, SC . The daughter of the late Adam and Catherine (Petrisko) Yarosik and beloved wife of her husband, the late Raymond Paul Sabol, passed away peacefully at Point Pleasant Retirement Community in North Versailles on March 10, 2025. Loving mother of Regis Sabol (Gail), Donna Bate (Gary) and Richard Sabol (Pennie) Sabol; Grandmother to Lisa Sabol Winwood (Kevin), Ryan Sabol (Christy), Allison Bate (Sam) and Keith Bate ( Caitlin), Roman Sabol (Sarah), Russell Sabol and Megan Sabol and Great-Grandchildren, Jasie, Elsie, Austin, Sybbie and Ella. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also pre-deceased in death by her sister Mildred (Mike), sister Ruth (Gene) and brother Robert (Carmela). She is survived by her sister, Shirl Miller (Richard) and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Point Pleasant, Gallagher Home Care and Bridges Hospice for their loving and exceptional care. She loved all of you very much, along with the many friends that she met at Point Pleasant.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home (828 Richford Street Duquesne, PA 15110). Family and friends will be received on Wednesday March 12, 6 to 8 pm, with a Mass at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Parish on Thursday March 13 at 10:00 am. Following the funeral service, Helen will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph’s Mausoleum in North Versailles, PA.
