James A. Jackson, Jr., age 75, of Port Vue, died July 15, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport. Born June 6, 1944, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late James A., Sr., and Philomena "Minnie" (Hayes) Jackson and the husband of Sandra (Hrisko) Jackson.

James was a retired self-employed dump truck driver. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War and a member of the Port Vue American Legion, Post # 447. He was also a life member of the Harley Davidson Owners Group.  James bowled on a league at the former Blue Rock Club of Port Vue. He enjoyed camping, riding his Harley Davidson and just relaxing at home on his porch swing. James loved animals as well, especially his cat, "Hunter."
In addition to his wife, James is survived by his children, James Brian (Christina) of Port Vue and Tara M. Eiben of Liberty Borough; grandson, James B., Jr.; sister; Gerry Hays Stancill of Ayden, NC; also nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Gilchrist.
Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
Inurnment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
