Scott A. Williamson, known to friends as “Wilk” and “Scotty”, 46, of Pittsburgh, formerly of West Hempfield, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016. He was born December 26, 1969 in Pittsburgh, the beloved son of Carol and the late Drew Williamson of Irwin. Dear brother of Susan (Dan) Marcinko and “Uncle” to Meghan, Molly, and Matthew Marcinko of Robinson Township. Scott’s pride and joy were his two beloved dogs ~ Makena and the late Winfield.

He was a 1988 graduate of Hempfield Area High School. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia where he played 4 years of Division III football.

He also earned his M.B.A., specializing in Sports Management and Marketing, from Robert Morris University. Scott was a marketing and sales executive for many years in the Washington DC area. He was the principal and founder of SAW Consulting Group. Scott had a zest for life. He was an avid reader, historian, golfer, and passionate Pitt fan. He loved his hometown city and Pittsburgh sports teams. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Friends will be received from 4 to 7:30 pm Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200 with a memorial service commencing at 7:30pm with Rev. Peggy Shannon, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Animal Friends or any charitable organization of choice.
