Joseph Kurzynski, age 87, of North Versailles, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. He was born February 16, 1934 in Wielum, Poland, a son of the late Tomasz and Julianna Kurzynski. He was a long-time member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, formerly known as St. Jude the Apostle in Wilmerding. He worked for over 20 years as a machinist at Westinghouse Electric in East Pittsburgh and then worked as a school bus driver and in maintenance at Giant Eagle before retiring.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Kurzynski; brother Anthony Kurzynski; and sister Stefani Rytel. He is survived by his former wife and long-time partner Shirley Kurzynski; children Donna (Bruce) Egan of North Huntingdon and Michael Kurzynski of Murrysville; grandchildren Kimberly Egan, Brian (Tiffany) Egan and Dale Egan; great grandchildren Isabella and Levi; sister Nellie Shurgot of East McKeesport. Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wilmerding. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Monroeville.
