William A. Mainwaring, 74, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was born August 28, 1946 in McKeesport, a son of the late William Mainwaring and Margaret Berkins. He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and prior to his retirement he worked at Westinghouse Air Brake, Wilmerding for over 20 years and most recently he was employed as a field supervisor for Plum borough.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother John T. “Jack” Mainwaring and his wife Barbara A. (Tomajko) Mainwaring. Bill was a devoted loving father and grandfather. He was a handyman that always willing to help and could fix any problem that would arise. Bill is survived by his son Sean (Brianna) Mainwaring of North Huntingdon; grand daughters Parker, Sawyer, and Clover; his girlfriend Tammy Reddington of North Huntingdon; nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Thursday, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A blessing service will be held 2 pm Friday in the funeral home.
