Amelia J. “Millie” Schleifer, age 89, of E. McKeesport, died Thursday, January 14, 2016.  Amelia was born June 30, 1926 in Yukon, PA. She is the daughter of the late Adolph and the late Anna Fabian Filicky.

Millie was devoted to her family, loved dancing and was a long- time member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church.

She is survived by her husband Charles “Chas” Schleifer; two sons, Chuck Schleifer of E. McKeesport, Gary (Kathleen) Schleifer of Navarre, OH; four daughters: Donna (Bob) Ferrainolo of E. McKeesport, Carole Simile (friend Chet Joseph) of New Stanton, Mariann (Mick) Rosenbayger of E. McKeesport, and Lynne Marie (Gery) Rosenbayger of N. Versailles. Also 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Sunday, from 2-4 and 6-8 at Strifflers Of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, Inc., (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor) 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church; Rev. John Brennan officiating. Interment will follow. Remembrances may be made in Amelia’s name to the Alzheimers Foundation of America 322 Eighth Ave., 7th floor, New York, NY 10001.
