Margaret T. Yuhas, age 97, of liberty Borough, died January 15, 2016, at Lawson Nursing Home. Born April 18, 1918, in Swissvale, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Hetzer) Cabon and the wife of the late Edward J. Yuhas for 66 years. Margaret dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a member of St. Mark Parish, a Christian Mother and a volunteer at the church.
She belonged to the Liberty Borough Seniors Group, the Ivy League Bowlers, enjoyed gardening and working puzzles. She loved and cared for many generations of nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed, and all of her family, thank her for the loving memories.
Margaret is survived by nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Elizabeth Little and Cecelia Petersen; brothers, Adam, John and Bobby Cabon.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on January 18, 2016, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Parish, Liberty Site, on January 19, 2016, at 10 a.m.
Entombment will follow in New St. Joseph Mausoleum.
