Thomas Gilbert Pasquinelli, age 81, of Clairton passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at VA Hospital in Oakland. Born November 7, 1943 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Thomas and Betty Jane (Adams) Pasquinelli. Thomas was a US Air Force veteran serving during Vietnam War and worked as a Laborer many years. He was an officer of the VFW in McKeesport. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool, and loved his grandkids. Thomas is survived by his sons Troy (Mary) Pasquinelli of Jefferson Hills and Michael Pasquinelli of Monongahela; grandchildren Raegyn and Jaxson Pasquinelli; sister Patricia (the late Charles) Bakewell of Forward Township; nephews Thomas and Joseph Bakewell; niece Tricia Nigut; and mother of Troy, Dorothy Vavra.

Shirley Byers, age 90 of Irwin, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on August 5, 2025 at Greene Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 22, 1935 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Vernon Wilson and Opal Bowling Wilson.  Shirley was a member of the Penns Woods United Methodist Church and also the Penns Woods Civic Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Byers, a son, Terry  Byers, and a brother, Richard Wilson. She is survived by one son, Edward Byers Jr., one daughter Brenda Billy, daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Byers, 7 grandchildren, Michael (wife Candy), John (wife Kristie), Edward III, Melissa, Justin (wife Jackie), Jared, and Derek, and great grandchildren, Travis, Kylie, Natalie, Hannah, Elizabeth, Logan, Abigail, Delilah, Brodi, Jace and Mia. Friends will be received at the James W. Marsha Jean Yerecic, age 67 of North Huntingdon, passed away on July 31, 2025, at UPMC Mercy Hospital. She was born on January 2, 1958, in Allegheny County. a daughte of the late Alfred E. and Jean Burda Weslowski. Prior to her retirement, Marsha was employed at Bechtel Bettis in West Mifflin. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and  a Norwin High School graduate, Class of 1976 . She enjoyed attending events with her husband at local sportsman's clubs, crocheting, gardening, reading, feeding birds and was an avid Steeler fan. In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her husband Bruce on July 3, 2025,  and her son Matthew Yerecic. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Yerecic, son-in-law, Michael Schmitt, one sister Linda Cubakovic (David), and four grandchildren Emma, Trevor, Jacob, and James. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 2-6 PM at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon . Evelyn F. Lickley, age 93, of Port Vue, died July 31, 2025, at Monroeville Post Acute. Born August 23, 1931, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Max and Evelyn (Riley) Winters, and wife of the late August Friedhofer and Robert Lickley.

Evelyn dedicated many years of her life to her work at the McKeesport Candy Company, where her diligent hands packed sweet treats that brought joy to many. Her heart, however, was most fully expressed in her home, where she delighted in cooking and baking for her family and friends. The aroma of her kitchen was a constant reminder of her love, and her generous spirit led her to share her culinary creations with those around her.

A devoted member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church, Evelyn found solace and strength in her faith. In recent years, she attended Greater Works Outreach in Monroeville, where she continued to nurture her spiritual growth.

Carrie retired as a clerical supervisor after thirty-two years for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Some of her favorite activities included playing bingo, poker, and the thrill of scratch-off lottery tickets. She also loved spending time with her family, especially at Canadohta Lake. She enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Gladys M. Bacco, age 84 and formerly of Port Vue and Monroeville, passed away peacefully in Duluth, GA.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Raymond P. Bacco; her children, Marcy (Harold) Raeford and R. Brian Bacco; her grandchildren, Tyler Raeford, Erin (Carson) McFall, and Brett (Kelsey) Raeford; her great-grandchildren, W. Wyatt McFall and Waylon McFall; her sister, Patricia (Larry) Day; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Vukovcan and Margaret (Gdovic) Vukovcan and her brother, George B. Vukovcan.

Gladys was a proud employee of Bettis Atomic Plant where she maintained several lifelong friendships with coworkers. She was a wonderful homemaker and devoted mother. She was an avid cook and loved to entertain. The most important thing to her was that there was plenty of food and that everyone had something to eat. She was a meticulous and talented seamstress as well as a Scrabble enthusiast. She cherished time with her family in Surfside Beach, SC where wonderful memories were made together.

James was a lifelong learner, earning an Associate's Degree from Penn State University, a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master's Degree from St. Francis University. His professional career in Human Resources Management was marked by his dedication to fostering positive workplace cultures and supporting unions and labor relations.

He embraced life with enthusiasm; whether it was growing up hunting deer at the family cabin in Tionesta, passionately following his beloved Pitt Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers, or indulging in his love for golf, he cherished these moments, particularly when shared with his sons. The family trips to Disney, fondly referred to as the "Hawthorne Party of 11," and cherished beach vacations hold a special place in the hearts of his loved ones, echoing laughter and warmth that will forever resonate in their memories. James was a proud member of the Chillicothe First Church of God, where he found community, fellowship, and a deep sense of purpose. His faith stood as a beacon of hope and love for his family and friends, guiding them through life's challenges and celebrating its joys.

A dedicated phlebotomist, Bonnita served with unwavering care at Shadyside, Braddock, Mercy, and McKeesport Hospitals. She was not only committed to her profession but also devoted herself to supporting those in need as a home health caregiver and loving mom. Her gentle spirit and nurturing disposition made a profound difference in countless lives.

Bonnita's passion for community and connection shone brightly in her founding of the Mon-Yough Deaf Awareness Association. Through this meaningful initiative, she organized Christmas parties and events, fostering inclusivity and joy within the community. She was also very active with the Western PA School for the Deaf (WPSD) Mayday event. Bonnita believed in the power of communication, always making an effort to stay in touch with family and friends through heartfelt phone calls, keeping her connections alive with love and laughter.

Naccarato, age 95 of Elizabeth Twp. and formerly of New Kensington, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in Grandview Estates, Elizabeth Twp..  Born November 23, 1929 in Lago, Itally, he was a son of the late Nicola and Maria (Runco) Naccarato.  the owner/proprietor of Dom's Shoe Service in Versailles and later McKeesport, Dominick was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church in McKeesport a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.  He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #11 of Pittsburgh, the American Legion #447 of Port Vue, the E.B.A. of McKeesport, the V.F.W. Post #514 of McKeesport, and the 11th. Ward Welfare Association.  In his spare time, Dom loved to garden and bowl and was a member of the same league for many years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dolores (Matzos) Naccarato, who passed away in 1984, and his brother M. John Naccarato.  Dominick is survived by his children Mary Lynn Herrera of Elizabeth Twp.,  Anthony (Kelly) Naccarato of Mechanicsburg, VA, Vicki (Patrick Houy) Naccarato of Clairton, and Nick Naccarato of Elizabeth Twp.; his five grandchildren Noah, Jesse (Shanna), Zac (Lauren), Riley, and Jacob Naccarato; his great-grandchildren Colton, Remington, Leonidas, Korey, Dominic, Joseph, and Mia; his sisters Mary Ann Boyd of New Kensington, Rose Monteleone of New Kensington, and Carmella Acres of Lower Burrell; his brother Arthur Naccarato of Harwick; and also nieces and nephews.
