James A. Billy, Sr., age 79 and formerly of Clairton and Connellsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Born April 7, 1946 in Clairton, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Soltis) Billy. A US Army Veteran, James attended Northern Michigan University and worked as a salesperson. He was also a member of the Slovak Club in Connellsville. James joins his wife, the late Janet (Owens) Billy, who passed away in September 14, 1983. He is survived by his children Jeanine (Victor) Lukas of Scottdale, James A. (Amber) Billy, Jr. of Coraopolis, and Jackie Sever of Greensburg; his grandchildren Nathan, Henry, and Ryan Lukas and Dylan Sever; his brothers John "Jack" (Peggy) Billy of La Jolla, CA, Edward J. (Janet) Billy of La Jolla, CA, Francis "Frank" A. Billy of Clairton, and Robert "Bob" (Robin) Billy of Annapolis, MD; and also nieces and nephews.

Charles “Chuck” Milcic, of North Huntington, peacefully passed on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the age of 74, after courageously battling a long illness, and surrounded by his loving family. Chuck was the beloved husband of Bonnie (Bendtsen) Milcic. He was the loving father of Martina (Mykael) Landstorfer and Luke Milcic. Beloved uncle of Maurice (Elisa) DeLucia and Ken (Becky) DeLucia. Chuck was preceded in passing by his mother, Barbara Milcic.
Chuck attended the University of Miami in Florida as a scholarship football player. He went on to play professionally for the Washington Redskins and the Houston Oilers. Following his career in professional football, Chuck served in the United States Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne jumping out of planes.
After his time in the Army, Chuck moved on to a career in education. He taught History and Science, worked as a Guidance Counselor, and Assistant Principal. Sports continued to play a part of his life as he coached football and track, as well as serving as an Athletic Director.

William J. Trecki was born June 22, 1959, in Brighton Heights, Pennsylvania. He passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026.

Billy graduated from North Catholic High School. At General Motors, he received his degree in Automotive. He worked at Classic Chevrolet, Bellevue, PA, for over 25 years.
He was an All or Nothing Man. He loved the Lord, his family & friends. Traveling, smoking foods, listening to music, and especially gardening was his favorites with his grandchildren right beside him.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Pettis Trecki, his children Giavonni & Deon Calloway, and 6 grandkids.
Services were private as per his request. His love for his family will reign forever in our memories.

Rita earned her bachelors degree from the University of Phoenix and went on to work as a customer service representative. She was a wiz tech and avid reader, her favorite author was Stephen King. Rita loved the spring season, she enjoyed everything that came with spring, flowers, butterflies and cardinals. She enjoyed playing slots at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh. She was known for her amazing cooking and baking. Rita was a loving, caring, and fun spirited soul. She made friends with anyone she met. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She forever will be missed.

Leaving behind a family forever shaped by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion, she was the heart of the family, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who had a remarkable gift for bringing people together. Her home was always open, her table always welcoming, and family gatherings were made special simply because she was there.
She found joy in the simple, beautiful moments of life. She loved tending to her garden, where flowers bloomed under her care and hummingbirds gathered as if they knew they were welcome. The summer evenings, sitting outside by the fire and watching fireworks burst across the sky, a sight that never failed to fill her with joy. She also loved her time volunteering at Angora Gardens.

Mildred Cromerdie, 96, of McKeesport, PA, was born on February 1, 1930, in Monessen, PA, the beloved daughter of Jerry Curry and Mildred Scott Curry.
Mildred graduated from High School. She was employed at Don’t Worry Childcare as a Cook. She worked at Mercy Hospital. After many years at Mercy Hospital, she retired only to join the workforce again, at the Salvation Army, Kennywood. Mildred was the oldest of her five siblings. She loved going to bingo, playing five-thousand-card games, and doing puzzles. Mildred loved her family and friends. She attended Christ Temple A.M.E. Mildred was a blessing to everyone. Her favorite quote was. “I Love You!”

Renna Armella Bailey Udoh, 58, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, peacefully transitioned on March 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at AHN West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Renna was born on September 5, 1967, to Samuel Bailey and Ruby Armella Payne-Walker. She was raised in McKeesport and proudly attended and graduated from McKeesport High School class of 1985, where her lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and community was first cultivated. Growing up, Renna was an active and vibrant young woman. She was a proud member of the McKeesport Black Berets Drill Team, where she developed discipline, confidence, and pride in teamwork. She loved to dance and sing and was naturally talented, carrying that joy throughout her life in worship, fitness instruction, and everyday moments that uplifted others.
Renna had a profound and lasting impact on youth and young adults. Through her work as an educator, mentor, fitness instructor, and minister, she poured wisdom, encouragement, and structure into the lives of countless young people. She faithfully served at the former Dominion Christian Academy in Greensburg as an instructional aide, substitute Bible teacher, and cook, nurturing students academically, spiritually, and personally. Her professional life reflected her deep passion for service and community. Renna began her career in the early 1990s with S&S Access, where she worked for more than ten years, while also serving as a Safe Driving and Vehicle Inspection Trainer at CCAC Allegheny Campus.

Barbara A. Johns, 85, of North Versailles, died Thursday, March 19, 2026. She was born July 2, 1940 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Richard and Blanche (Wilks) Heuer. She was a member of Living Hope Church, a member of North Braddock Volunteer Fire Department #3, Ladies Auxiliary, and was an avid bowler. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William Johns, a daughter Janine Downey, and a granddaughter Carrie Yelenic. She is survived by her daughters Stacie Johns and Karen Little; her son-in-law Thomas Downey; her granddaughter Erica Rice; great grandchildren Thomas Randall, Alyssa Rice, Ashley Rice, and Madison Rice; and a brother Richard Hever. At Barbara’s request there will be no viewing. A private graveside service with interment will be in Lebanon Church Cemetery. Howard J. Pence, 70, of Irwin, died Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born August 11, 1955 in McKeesport, son of the late Charles M. and Lois (Beatty) Pence. Howard was owner of a precision sheet metal fabrication, First Rate Metal Fabrication and formerly Excel Metal Fabrication. He enjoyed traveling and RVing with his wife and had visited 46 states. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Justin Jacob Pence and his brother Charles Sisler. He is survived by his wife Linda L. Marjorie graduated from McKeesport High School in 1963 and received a certification from McKeesport Technical School for cosmetology and beautician services, a program that continues today. In Marjorie's earlier years, she worked at Ann Parlers Salon in McKeesport as a beautician for 20 years. She was later employed at the Three Rivers Stadium's Allegheny Club as a pantry worker for more than 20 years. Margie loved to play word puzzles & casino games, enjoyed thrift shopping, and watched every zombie movie ever produced. She loved long phone calls with her family or visits over coffee.

Born January 17, 1943 in Chicago Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Drotnal) Koranda. Darlene dedicated 15 years of service to Fannie Mae Candies before her retirement. She found great joy in playing bingo, card games, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends. She was the cherished wife of the late George Romano Jr. Darlene is survived by her daughter, Janine (William) Cain of Bridgeville; her sister Mary Lou Crespo; her brothers Terry and Thomas Koronda; her favorite nephews Joey and Scotty Holubek; her favorite niece, Tari Holubek and her brother-in-law Joe Holubek. Martin “Red” G. Downes, age 94, of McKeesport, PA, died on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was born in McKeesport, PA on January 5, 1932, and was the son of the late Martin J. and Anna M. Gunning Downes. Martin was known as an excellent fast pitch softball player. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and after his military service he was employed by the family roofing business. Martin was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church. His faith was of the utmost importance to him, therefore he attended Mass daily.
