He was also the wildly successful owner and operator of the legendary Dunn's Dairy in McKeesport for almost 20 years. Big Danny could flip a burger like no other, "The DUNNBURGER", and could play a mean game of pinball. He was a graduate of Serra Catholic High School after successfully digging graves to pass Latin. Dan was a US Army veteran and toured in Korea. He was known for many things throughout his life. Dan had an incredible sense of humor and an uncanny way to make you laugh at will. He was a role model to many, a rock of stability, and a fierce family man. He enjoyed playing cards with his McKeesport life-long friends, Mama Pepino's cohorts, and many, many trips to the casino. He had an intense passion for coaching his Daughter Hayley's softball teams and relaxing to Doo-Wop oldies. The most important thing to Big Danny was his family's happiness. He loved and adored his precious grand-babies.
