James Dougherty, age 75, of McKeesport, died October 15, 2019, at home. Born January 18, 1944, he was the son of late James and Thelma (Woodyard) Dougherty and the husband of Sandra (Barnes) Dougherty. James was retired from Reinhold's Ice Cream, Teamster Local 205, and was an Army Veteran. He loved his family, especially his best friend Morgan. James enjoyed camping, fishing and was an avid woodworker. James is survived by his wife, Sandra (Barnes) Dougherty, Daughter; Casey Jo (Rege) Kuzel, granddaughter; Morgan; step-grandchildren; Taylor and Dylan Kuzel, siblings; Patricia Petro and Hugh (Debbie) Dougherty. He is preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on October 18, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A blessing service will be held on October 19, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home Chapel.
