John D. Semenko, age 59, of White Oak, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2022.
John was a 1980 Grad of E.A.H.S. and Forbes Road Vocational School. An avid gardener and animal lover, John was most at peace in his garden by the pond with his dogs and cats.
John was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alberta (Krajack) Semenko, his nephews Kyle and Logan Flodine, his dear friend Harry Stevens, and his mentor and friend William Taylor.
He is survived by his brother George Semenko of Pittsburgh, sister Mary Petro of Greensburg, nephews Shane, Tanner, & Cameron Flodine of Wilmerding, and very dear friend Janet Stevens.
On Sunday, June 12, 2022, there will be a Memorial Celebration at Dogwood Grove in White Oak Park, beginning at 1 p.m.

Harry Samuel LeWinter, 82, of McKeesport, passed away at home Sunday, May 29, 2022, with his son and daughter at his side. He was born December 15, 1939, in McKeesport, the son of the late Edward and Jean (Hertz) LeWinter. Harry was preceded in death by his two sisters, Goldie and Gloria. Harry was a graduate of McKeesport High School. He served in the Army Reserves as an E-5 between 1957 and 1967. Harry later pursued a Master of Education with the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1970. Harry met his wife, the late Janice (Wilson) LeWinter, during his studies at the University of Pittsburgh, where she worked as an executive secretary. They were married 55 years before she passed away in 2017.

Robert Baranchak, Jr, age 56, of McKeesport, died May 18, 2022, at home. Born November 17, 1965, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Robert Baranchak Sr. and Linda Penn.
Bob worked in construction and in the automobile industry throughout his life. He enjoyed restoring old cars and collecting model cars. Bob loved camping at Keystone Park and visiting the Keystone Raceway Park.

Carole Bokin, age 75, of White Oak, died May 3, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born January 8, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Ann G. (Sabolcik) Molcany, the wife of the late David Bokin, Jr.
Carole dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She was a former member of Holy Name Catholic Church. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting and painting statutes. Carole was also a collector of porcelain dolls.
Carole is survived by her daughter, Laurie Molcany; granddaughter, Brittany Gease; great-grandson, Braxton Loving.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Molcany and Patricia Robson.

Joseph B. Kubacky, age 81, of North Huntingdon, died May 2, 2022, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born April 5, 1941, in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Florence (Hinerman) Kubacky.
Joseph was a steelworker his whole life and retired from US Steel Duquesne Works. He was a lover of all animals who once went out to buy an air conditioner and came home with a dog. He also came across a dying bird and fed and cared for it for a year nursing it back to health.
Joseph is survived by daughters, Colleen (Jerry) Costello and Traci (Ed Fontanese) Kubacky; grandchildren, Kelly Jean Costello, Jessica Callahan, Judy Callahan, Christopher Callahan, Amanda Solar, Angel Solar, Vanessa Kubacky, Felicia Kubacky, and many great-grandchildren; brother, Benjamin Kubacky; nephew, Greg Kubacky.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was also preceded in death by children, JoAnn Kubacky, Joseph Kubacky, and Kim Kubacky.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.

Timothy Willard, age 32, of White Oak, died April 25, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born March 5, 1990, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Joseph, Jr. and Peggy (Lippert) Willard.
Tim last worked at Kennywood in the foodservice department. He was a prolific poet and story writer. Tim expressed his love for music through the instruments he played including the drums, guitar, and he was looking forward to learning how to play the violin. He was a generous beautiful soul, who loved animals and was always bringing rescues home. Tim loved kayaking, camping, and ghost hunting. He also enjoyed watching the History and Discovery Channels.

Leona (Lauffer) DiToppa, age 95, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully at Redstone Highlands, North Huntingdon, on April 16, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, August DiToppa, and her mother, Mary Kuznik.
She is survived by her three sons Dr. Louis A. (Joyce) DiToppa of North Huntingdon, David A. DiToppa of Bethel Park, and Paul A. (Marti) DiToppa of North Huntingdon. She was the proud grandmother of three granddaughters, Paige, Martina, and Maria DiToppa.

Christopher J. Patchel, Sr., age 81, of White Oak, formerly of Turtle Creek, died April 15, 2022, at home surrounded by his loved ones. Born March 12, 1941, in Trafford, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Asquino) Patchel and the husband of Nancy (Brakeall) Patchel for 53 loving years.
Chris retired from Berk's Menswear and Tuxedo Shop, where he was a salesman. Before that, from the age of 16 until he was 58 years old, he worked and eventually managed many of the former Carlton's Menswear shops until they closed. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the 321st Transportation Division, in the Vietnam War 1967 through 1968 during the TET Offensive. Chris was a member of the White Oak American Legion Post #701. He was also a member of the former St. Mary Czestochowa Church, now known as Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church. Chris enjoyed fishing, bingo, playing poker, trips to the casino, and meeting up with his Speedway buddies for a morning coffee and to scratch PA Lottery tickets. He had a passion for Pittsburgh sports, football, hockey, and especially baseball. Chris loved to ride along in the White Oak Memorial Day Parades, proudly representing his fellow soldiers. He was also an animal lover; he bird watched with his wife, had cats and dogs throughout his life as pets, and leaves behind his special furry friend, "Izzy."

Colleen worked for TriState Capital Bank as a senior loan administrator. She was a member of the PNA Club. Colleen loved shopping and painting with watercolors. She always looked forward to visiting her family and friends out of state. Colleen adored her three cats, Leo, Nia, and Marley.

Gloria "Glo" Crawford, age 96, of White Oak, died March 31, 2022, at home. Born January 5, 1926, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Chauncey E. and Amelia (Jones) Paulin and wife of the late William R. Crawford. Glo worked for U.S. Steel as a steel buyer for 20 years and would retire from by Jiminee Inc. She was a member of Kephart United Methodist Church, Home Gardener's Club of McKeesport, and AARP White Oak Chapter #2294. Gloria gave back to her community by volunteering at the McKeesport Hospital Gift Shop, Operation Blessing Food Distribution Mission, and was a Girl Scout Leader, and Cub Scout Leader. She enjoyed reading, gardening, canning, baking, cooking, sewing, and shopping.
