Jack R. McCombs, age 96, of Monongahela, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at South Hills Post Acute in Bethel Park. An army veteran of World War II, he retired as a brakeman for McKeesport Connecting Railroad and attended the former Elizabeth Wesleyan Church. Born October 31, 1928, in Dravosburg, he was a son of the late Frank and Mae (Carter) McCombs and husband of the late Carolyn M. (Booth) McCombs. He is survived by his daughter, Janae (James) Potter of Hamlet, IN; three grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Sue Dell, and siblings, Lloyd, Roy, Ralph, Vance, Ethel, Grace, Margaret and Lila. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice for the loving care and friendship they showed us and our dad. No visitation or services are planned. Kimberly Pape, age 67, of West Mifflin, died at home on May 15, 2025. Born August 31, 1957, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Betty (Miller) Pape.
She is survived by a son, Zachary Buchleitner; grandchildren, Cassidy and Ethan; brother, Frank (Michele Lewis) Pape; and close friend, Cal Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Justin Pape, and sister, Rae Ann Szarmach.

Carolyn N. Le, age 68, of Clairton, and formerly of Anaheim Hills, CA, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at home. Born October 21, 1956 in Saigon, Vietnam, she was the daughter of the late Le Kien and the late Boi Dhi Doi. Carolyn worked as a Nurse for many years and was a member of the Vietnamese Baptist Church in Clairton. She is survived by her husband Chuck T. Le; sons Johnny and Jimmy Le, both of Clairton; her siblings Hung (Arlene Huynh) Le, Tri Le, Bin (Rob Fleming) Le, Duc (Thu) Le, and Trung (Trang) Le; and also nieces and nephews.

Kathy Eileen Ulbrich, 69, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025. She was born May 10, 1956. She was the daughter of the late John and Stella Ulbrich. Kathy was a 1974 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and went on to attend Theil College, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She was a resident of Houston, Texas for over 40 years where she taught secondary education for over 25 years and retired at age 56. She traveled throughout Europe and the U.S. She loved the beaches.

John J. Stilwell, age 64, of Elizabeth, died May 18, 2025, at Forbes Hospital. Born February 28, 1961, in Monroeville, he was the son of the late John and Eilzabeth Stilwell and is the significant other of Paula Beisler. John was a gentle spirit who found joy in simple pleasures, often sharing moments of laughter and warmth with family and friends. He had a unique ability to connect with all living beings, demonstrating an extraordinary affection towards his feline companions: Peanuts, Charlie, Midnight, and Snowy Stilwell.

Raymond F. Werner, age 81 of Clairton, passed away at home on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Born May 14, 1944 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late William and Ruth (Fraas) Werner. A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton, Ray worked at Union Electric Steel, Mesta Machine, and Lawson Excavating over the years. In his spare time, he loved going to his camp, watching his grandchildren play sports, and being around his family. He will be remembered by them as a great father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Ray is survived by his wife of 60 years Nancy (Adair) Werner; his children John (Joanne) Werner of New Eagle, Michael (Amy) Werner of Pittsboro, IN, Kevin (Jennifer) Werner of Library, and Lori Ann Werner of McKeesport; his grandchildren Joshua (Erin), Caitlin (Joe), Thomas, Hillary, Megan, Madalyn (Noah), Victoria, Owen, and Paije; his great-grandchildren Brooke, Brynnlyigh, Shepard, Mylah; his siblings Loretta Werner, Rita Werner, Marie Werner, Ruthanne (Kenny) Smith, William (the late Joanie) Werner, Becky Guenther, and Frank (Barb) Werner; his sister-in-law Linda Werner; and also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Beverly E. Mazza, age 87, of Clairton passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025 at home. Born September 4, 1937 in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late John and Santina (Lepri) Mazza. Beverly worked as a bookkeeper for West Elizabeth Lumber in Elizabeth for 38 years and was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare site in Clairton. She is survived by her sister Marlene (the late Willie) Valvo of Clairton; brother Gordan ( the late Madge) Lepri of Whitehall; nieces & nephews, Ralph Valvo, Maryann Cross, Anita Roth, Jude Lepri, Natalie Madar, Mary Beth Pierucci, Bill Mazza, Frank Mazza, Jennifer Bitkowski, Tony Sacco, and Rick Sacco; also, several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William Mazza, Sr.; sister Sarah Sacco, and uncle and aunt Ralph and Mary Lepri.

Norma Jean Gallo, 92, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was born November 16, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Lula A. (Ford) Mayfield. She was a longtime member of the former Frank Baptist Church. Norma was a longtime employee and housekeeper for Dr. Rudy and Ann Buck. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her family meant everything to her. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Joseph E. Gallo; son, Duane J. (Kelly) Gallo; granddaughter, Chelsea Fredrickson; great-granddaughter, Vivian Fredrickson; and sister, Anna Mae (the late John "Bud") Richards.
