Irene M. “Reni” Bargar, age 54, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at home.
She was born to Louis and Adrienne (Horvath) Kruszewski on July 3, 1970 in Pittsburgh.
She was employed as a Physical Therapist after graduating from Beaver College in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish of Camp Hill, former member of Holy Trinity Church - now St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, and also a member of G-PACT (support group for gastroparesis).
She was preceded in death by her father Louis.
She is survived by her husband Dale L. Bargar of East Berlin, her mother Adrienne (Horvath) Kruszewski of West Mifflin and brothers Joseph (Ruby) Kruszewski of Dallas, Texas, Matthew (Holly) Kruszewski of Bethel Park, James (Natalie) Kruszewski of Baldwin, Louis M. (Amanda Opalko) Kruszewski of Port Vue and Mark (Nicole) Kruszewski of Pittsburgh.

Peter C. Thomas, age 87, of North Versailles, died at home on May 11, 2025. Born July 18, 1937, in Farmington, he was the son of the late Raymond and Norma (Jackson) Thomas and husband of the late Carol Ann Thomas.
Peter was a member of Operating Engineers Local 66 and drove for S&S Transit for 20 years. He enjoyed traveling with his late wife Carol, visiting Wildwood for 26 years every end of August, where they would enjoy walking on the boardwalk and loafing on the beach. They also traveled out west in a motor home, visiting 17 states. While on their trip out west, they took in the sights of the Cheyenne Rodeo.
Peter is survived by children, Jenna (Jeff) Thomas and Tye Thomas; eight grandchildren; sisters, Deanna Zalinski and Betty Travis.

Dolores "Dee" Veychek, age 87 of North Huntingdon, passed away on May 14, 2025. She was born on June 18, 1937 in Rankin, a daughter of the late Joseph Sullivan and Helen Barlas Sullivan. Dee was a graduate of Rankin High School in the Class of 1954, and a member of St. Agnes Church where she sang in the choir and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Dee was an artist, and she was an all-around animal lover. Most of all, she cherished her role as a homemaker and loved the time she spent with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leo Veychek. She is survived by two sons Michael Veychek (wife Susan), and Joseph Veychek (wife Sharon), three daughters Diane Tyger (husband Russell), Mary Fiume (husband Daniel), and Helen Holman (husband Robert), one brother Tom Sullivan (wife Nina), twelve grandchildren Ashley, Nicholas, Lauren, Brandon, Casey, Evan, Nicky, Emily, Abigail, Joshua, Alexis, Leah, and four great-grandchildren Olivia, Noah, Jacob, and Isaac. Floyd H.Gillott, age 97 of North Huntingdon passed away on May 14, 2025 at Walden's View, North Huntingdon. He was born on September 22, 1927 in Bullskin Township, a son of the late Fulleriene and Frances Landy Gillott. Floyd was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. He enjoyed family dinners, family reunions, gardening, and he was an-all around handyman. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1945. Floyd was first employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad, then until his retirement , he worked for Fisher Body, Division of General Motors in the production control department. . He was a veteran of the US Army stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Marie (Steiner) Gillott, two sisters, Virginia Gillott and Verna Edwards, and son-in-law Charles Kertis. Dolores Buchman Reichman, 95, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was born February 15, 1930 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Berti and Helen (Mermelstein) Buchman. Dolores was the wife of the late Harry Reichman. She was a member of the Gemilas Chesed Synagogue and its sisterhood there. Upon graduation from the Winona School of Professional Photography, she became one of the first female photographers in the area. She started her career in photography at her family business, Buchman Photography, where she had many local and national achievements and accolades. She also owned and managed the former Three Rivers Beauty Supply where she oversaw 24 employees and was involved in all facets of the business. In 1986 she closed the business after 25 years of service. She was also a staff member with Barbara Hafer, former PA Auditor General and Treasurer. Dolores was also a member of Hadassah- The National Council of Jewish Women. She had a special place in her heart for The Sisters of The Divine Redeemer in Elizabeth Township who included her in their 1959 Yearbook for her photography skills. She will be greatly missed.

Sheila Ann Staley, age 81, of McKeesport, formerly of White Oak, died March 25, 2025, at Montefiore Hospital. Born December 22, 1943, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John "Chick" and Eileen Lindberg and the wife of the late Delwyn Staley.
Sheila was a sweet individual whose kindness touched the lives of everyone she met. She found deep joy in the simple pleasures of life-Sunday visits with family, reliving treasured memories while driving through old neighborhoods, and stopping for ice cream along the way. A devout Catholic, Sheila regularly attended Mass and participated in the rosary, finding comfort and strength in her faith. She embraced life with a spirit of joy evident in her love for crafts, Wii bowling, and the camaraderie of bingo nights. Sheila will be fondly remembered for her infectious smile, her gentle giggles, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her.

Daniel Edward “Zedo” Jacobs, 85, of Port Vue, passed away on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at his home. He was born in North Braddock on June 9, 1939, to the late Stephen and Mary Elizabeth Jacobs. Daniel was the loving husband 55 years to the late Nancy Cole Jacobs. He is survived by his daughter Holly (George) Hartung of Port Vue, son Daniel (Nicole) Jacobs of Clairton, grandchildren Logan, Jace, and Hunter, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents and wife Nancy. Daniel was preceded in death by his brother S. Gilbert Jacobs and beloved dog Lynyrd. He was previously employed at U.P.S., was a Port Vue police officer, and worked at William H. O’Brian Construction. Daniel was trained as a Master Mechanic but was also a Jack-of-all-trades and a “Mr. Fix it”, which he used to help many people in his life. John Ralph “Ski” Raszewski Ross, 92, of Glassport, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 peacefully at his home. He was born at McKeesport Hospital on February 18, 1933 to the late Peter Raszewski and Victoria Buldak. He was the 11th of 12 children. He spoke fluent Polish until his very last days. John was the loving husband of 68 years to his beloved Sally Jo. He is survived by his children Patricia (William H.) Kiser of Glassport, Val (Nikki) Ross of Glassport, and Amy (Bob) Deliman of Dravosburg. Surviving siblings Eleanor Sidlo of Glassport and Lanny (Marlene) Raszewski also of Glassport. Grandchildren Christopher, Billy, Jimmy, Joshua, Brandon, Jordan, Bree, Ricky, Cory, Robert, Kara, Val, and Michael. Great-grandchildren Skyler, Tyler, Joseph, Colby, and Ellis.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his loving wife Sally Jo. Children Karen and Johnny. Grandchildren Little Johnny and newborn Kimberly. John was a devout member of the Queen of the Rosary Church his entire life. He served as an alter boy at the church as a young child. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball when he was a teenage boy. He was enlisted in the Navy from 1951 until 1955. He served aboard the USS Battleship Missouri and the USS Battleship Wisconsin during the Korean War. John worked for Westinghouse in Glassport as a Coil Winder for 30 years. He was also affiliated with the Men’s Softball League in Glassport in the 1980’s as a player and a coach. He was a member of the Polish National Alliance. He played basketball on an “old-timers” pickup league until he was 70 years old. John loved to watch all types of sports. He especially loved tending to his garden and yard.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in his honor at St. Joachim & Anne Parish Queen of the Rosary in Glassport on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 starting at 10 a.m. Immediately followed by interment at Saint Mary Czestochowa Cemetery in White Oak.

Irwin J. “Butch” Babyak, age 84, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital. An Army veteran, he retired as a Millwright from U.S. Steel Clairton Works after more than 30 years. He was a member of Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, Saint Michael Church in Elizabeth Township where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Butch was a family man who enjoyed having dinner once a week with his children and beating them at a game of cards. He enjoyed all things related to the Pennsylvania Lottery, keeping up to date with the daily drawings each evening and enjoying a scratch off ticket. He was extremely handy around the house as well, and he worked through a long list of home projects and improvements throughout his retirement. Born June 21, 1940 in Glassport, he was a son of the late Alfred and Irene (Cavanaugh) Babyak and husband of 56 years of the late Lorraine (Marcus) Babyak. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Gregg) Maley of Elizabeth Township; sons, Michael Babyak of South Park and Joseph Babyak of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Bobby and Troy Maley and Samantha and Taylor Babyak; great-grandchildren, Jude and Raena Maley and Lacey and Cecelia Babyak; sister, Mary Ann Meyer of Elizabeth Township.; brother, William Babyak of Spring, TX; also, nieces and nephews. Nancy E. Rustic, age 78, formerly of North Huntingdon, now residing in Pittsburgh died May 11, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Sherma Feldman Fiedler, age 98, passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Worth, FL, on May 5, 2025. Sherma was born in Pittsburgh on January 28, 1927, to Maurice and Lillian Feldman. She graduated from Taylor-Alderdice High School, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. In her youth, Sherma studied dance with Gene Kelly, who went on to be a film star. At Pitt, she met Morton I. Fiedler, who had just returned from his tour of duty as the commander and pilot of a B-17 in the Eighth Air Force, based in England. The two married on Sherma’s 21st birthday. They moved to White Oak, where they raised their family.
They were members of Temple B’Nai Israel, and Sherma was active in the temple sisterhood and sang in the adult choir under the direction of Cantor Gold. They were also members of Baldoc Hills Country Club. In the 1970s, the Fiedlers moved to Chicago, and Sherma enjoyed working as an official during election years. When the couple retired to Lake Worth, FL, Sherma was a regular duplicate bridge player, and took up tennis with her friends in their community. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 70 years, and her sister Elaine Friedlander. Survivors include her children Nancy Fiedler Millman (Jeff) of Cave Creek, AZ, and David Fiedler (Becky), Barrington, IL. She is also survived by her granddaughters Amy Fiedler, M.D., San Francisco, and Morgan Delack (Nathan) of Barrington, IL, and two great grandchildren, Hannah and Caleb Delack. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her devoted caregivers Francine Fenelon and Marie Mode Coulanges.
