Chuck was retired from the US Postal Service and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He is survived by his sister, Toni Carnahan of New Market, MD, nephew, Scott J. (Lisa) Carnahan and a niece, Lisa J. (Ken Kumar) Carnahan.
