Robert W. Kampert, age 58, of McKeesport, died January 28, 2022, at home. Born September 8, 1963, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Edith (Pickell) Kampert.
Robert worked for many years as a security guard at a parking garage in Pittsburgh and was also an avid Chicago Bears and Steelers fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Kampert.
Family and friends wishing to attend the burial are requested to arrive at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m.
The burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Mifflin.

Richard J. Simak, age 89, of McKeesport, died January 19, 2022, at The Palms Senior Living Center. Born May 11, 1932, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Andrew and Daisy Danica(Zagar) Simak and husband of the late Vincentina (Como) Simak.
Richard retired from U.S. Steel National Tube Works. He served in the Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, the White Oak American Legion Post 701, and the McKeesport AMVETS Post 8.

Frank A. Steele, age 53, of Lincoln Borough, died January 25, 2022, at Forbes Hospital. Born June 3, 1968, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Roy and Rose (Ross) Steele and husband of Sherry (Trasp) Steele.
Frank was the owner of Steele City Auto Sales and Service in Christy Park for over 20 years. He was dedicated to his business, tirelessly working six days a week to make sure he offered his community fair prices and trustworthy service.

Joseph A. Krivda, age 52, of White Oak, died January 24, 2022, at home. Born March 9, 1969, in Braddock, he was the son of the late Albert and Mary (Pavlick) Krivda. Joseph was a Union Painter with UPMC. He was a proud dad who enjoyed spending time with his son Cooper. Life outside, whether camping around a large fire, gardening, or riding dirt bikes with Cooper, is what he cherished most. He also kept active golfing and bowling.

Edward P. Wojdyla, age 77, of McKeesport, died January 24, 2022, at home. Born January 28, 1944, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Edward P. and Eleanor (Lipinsky) Wojdyla and husband of Janeen (Eckels) Wojdyla.
Edward worked for U.S. Steel as a grievance man and then for the Federal Government in maintenance eventually retiring as the head of maintenance in the William S. Moorhead Federal Building, Pittsburgh. He was a self-taught vocalist known for his deep bass voice and enjoyed singing sixty-minute man. Edward was a member of the PNA 352 in McKeesport.

David C. Brown, age 77 of McKeesport, died at AHN Forbes Hospital on January 15, 2022. Born December 18, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Moore) Brown and the husband of Kathryn A. (Shea) Brown of 31 years.
Dave currently worked as a driving instructor with Rodgers Driving School. David was a longtime member of the First Church of the Open Bible. He was a Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. Dave was a Civil War History buff and enjoyed puzzles and chess.

Brian was currently working for TAKTL, LLC Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Brian loved the Steelers, Penguins, and playing any sport he could. He also shot a lot of pool! Brian Graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Industrial Hygiene and applied that learning to all the jobs he was in aiming to keep people as safe as possible.

Daniel G. Wynn, 93, died Friday, January 7, 2022, at Jefferson Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, in Jefferson Hills, PA. Born November 30, 1928, in McKeesport, PA, he was the son of the late Homer E. and Elizabeth Marie (McCartney) Wynn.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Barchie of Mt Juliet, TN, and over 23 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edith Esther (Cipriani) Wynn, brothers John (Jack) G. Wynn of Hilton Head, SC, Francis Xavier Wynn of Pahrump, NV, James Miller Wynn of White Oak, PA and Charles Richard Wynn of West Hills, CA. He was a retired teacher from the Diocese of Pittsburgh Schools, held an extensive knowledge of American history, and was an avid reader.

Rebecca Kofile, age 59, of Flower Mound, TX, died December 29, 2021, at home. Born October 24, 1962, in Uniontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Provance and Betty (Leisure) Provance and the wife of Frank Kofile.
Rebecca is survived by her son, Joshua Kofile, and brothers, Melvin and Frank Provance; also nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Provance, and sister, Mary McCallister.

Born March 14, 1937, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Thelma (Kim) Haberland and the loving wife of Patrick Massung for 44 years. Ruth loved to cook, and baking was her specialty. She had many recipes and was always trying something new for her family to taste. She also enjoyed her garden and tending to plants around the home. Above all, she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

Carol Ann Thomas, age 73, of North Versailles, died December 22, 2021, at Jefferson Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. Born March 30, 1948, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William Betz, Sr., and Agnes Betz and loving wife of Peter Thomas for 46 years.
Carol earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the California University of Pennsylvania and then her Master's Degree from Penn State University. Carol would become a teacher at the former Central Catholic School on Versailles Avenue in McKeesport and then at Allegheny Intermediate Unit teaching disabled students. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, visiting Wildwood for 26 years every end of August, where they would enjoy walking on the boardwalk and loafing on the beach. They also traveled out west in a motor home, visiting 17 states. While on their trip out west, they took in the sites of the Cheyenne Rodeo. Carol was skilled with her hands knitting and creating beautiful crafts year-round. She also enjoyed baking nut rolls, lady locks, and other cookies, especially around the holidays.
