Doris Jane McClymont Walker of Goshen, Kentucky, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died peacefully in her home on July 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of fifty- two years, P. Duane ("Dewey") Walker, and her dear and only sibling, Edna Mae Hannen.
Doris was born in Coulter, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania on December 17,1931, to the late Richard and Lillian Lyons McClymont. She very much identified with being "a little girl of the 30's," with her strong sense of values and her very frugal ways. Upon graduating from McKeesport High School in 1949, Doris became a legal secretary. (She held treasured, lifelong memories of all the years she spent running to catch the train from her sleepy little coal mining town of Coulter, into downtown McKeesport for school and work.) It was while working as a legal secretary that she met Dewey, and they married in 1959.
As Doris and Dewey started their family, there were significant moves for Dewey's career. All the while, Doris filled the role as primary caregiver to their three children, yet still found time for volunteerism: teaching Sunday school, using her secretarial skills to type large print reading materials for the visually impaired and also learning Braille. Years later, Doris discovered her love for painting and became a decades-long student at the Schrodt Art Studio in Louisville, completing many vibrant and beautiful oil paintings. She was so pleasantly surprised and honored the year she won a blue ribbon at one of the Studio's Art Shows!

Dolly also was a committee person for her district, campaigning for local and state representatives. She was one person not to let the grass grow under her feet. Dolly’s biggest and proudest accomplishment was serving on the school board for East Allegheny School District from December 1995 through December 2015. On June 28, 2022, God called Stephanie Diane Underwood Tyson home to eternal rest. “Diane” as she was affectionately called was born on May 3, 1953, to Oscar Wilber Underwood Sr. and Lucille Underwood in Pittsburgh Pa. Diane was the third of five children and only daughter. Although the “lady of the bunch”, she could hang just as tough with her brothers and was a force to be reckoned with. They knew who was actually in charge.
Before Diane’s transition to heaven, she lived an exciting and luminous life. You always knew when Diane was in the room from that distinct, bellowing laughter of hers that permeated the place. You couldn’t help but join in the laughter and you were just as happy. Diane had a way of making everyone around her feel good! She was full of life and had friends who became family from all walks of life. She never met a stranger that didn’t become family.
Diane received her formal education through the Duquesne Public School System from grades K-8. Due to her friendly and gregarious personality, it was no surprise that she became a cheerleader while in high school. Diane was a trail blazer the only Black girl on her cheer leading squad. While attending Duquesne Senior High School, Diane met Russell Boston, her “high school sweetheart” and they were blessed with a son, Marlin Underwood.

Rossina Diane Nelson, a beacon of light and bright spirit, lived an incredible life until she went on to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Rossina was born to the late Myrna and Monroe Donaldson on November 21, 1957.
Along her journey, she wore many titles: daughter, sister, wife, aunt, grandmother, and friend, but nothing compared to her favorite of them all, a proud mother to her two loving sons, Harlan Eugene Tobe, Jr. and Jordan Keith Wood. Rossina was previously married to the late Harlan E. Tobe, Sr, and Harold Nelson. Sr.
At the age of nine, Rossina was baptized at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church alongside her lifelong best friend Patti, where they grew up in Crestas Terrace. She graduated in 1975 from East Allegheny Senior High School and attended Boyce Park Community College. Rossina retired from Access Transportation. She was also a committed member of Narcotics Anonymous for over 25 years; she served as a speaker and strong advocate for those around her. Rossina helped many people, changing many lives for the better and building countless friendships along the way. She never missed a meeting. Rossina was known as “Cool Ross,” which spoke volumes about her personality. She was very kind and fun-loving to all; surely, she was a diva. From the surprise birthday parties for her brother Billy at 424 East Carter Drive to the Crestas Fire Hall and West Cater Street dance with all her family and friends, she was the life of the party, not to mention the best dressed! She matched her clothes from head to toe and her jewelry and shoes always matched too. I’m telling you, she must have had an enormous closet because she loved to dress! Her style matched her personality, colorful and full of life.
